JW Marriott Medan announces the Grand Opening

Wednesday, 25 February 2009, the city of Medan celebrates today the grand opening of the new luxurious JW Marriott hotel. The hotel is ideally located in the center of the city’s business district and 6 kilometers from Polonia International airport (MES), which is now home to a newly redeveloped historic neighborhood, trendy restaurants and entertainment spots.

The VIP gala venue will take place in the hotels Grand Ballroom, 2nd floor of JW Marriott Medan. Special North Sumatera cultural performances such as traditional Batak Ethnical Music, Sigale gale Dance and special performance by Seven Star Band will add to the splendor of the celebration. The Gondang Sembilan percussion will part of the Grand Opening celebration culmination.

The new JW Marriott Medan is the first 5 star Marriott and International hotel in Medan.
