Clean As You Go to Serve Community
Medan, (11/12) As part of actualization the commitment of the philosophy “Spirit to Serve Community”, JW Marriott Hotel in Medan conducted “Litter Patrol” Clean as You Go, which happened, Wednesday 10 December 2008. The event was run successful, and JW Marriott Medan proved its concern and care about the environment. This awareness was addressed to build the sense of belonging of Medan City.
This “Litter Patrol” was involved the entire staff and management JW Marriott Medan about 500 people, which all went down to the streets to support the sanitary officer around jalan Putri Hijau by cleaning up the environment. Robby Fachri, HRD Assistant Director JW Marriott Medan, who is also in charge as the appointed Chairman of Litter Patrol was mentioned that this event is a corporate culture of the newest 5 star International Hotel, JW Marriott Medan, which as part of Medan Citizen, all staff and management had the responsibility to take care of the sanitary environment that is starting with the closest surround environments.
This event is not a sudden event which would be held only once. This program has been the routine of JW Marriott hotel along with Spirit to Serve the community. They commit that JW Marriott always offers the best product and service and also friendly, comfortable and healthy environment.
